Just a 5 minute walk from Crystal Cottage leads you into the centre of Holmfirth. Here you will find the hustle and bustle of the town centre which is one of the most famous towns in Yorkshire.
Also known as The Last of the Summer Wine country, it offers bars, restaurant, cafe's, a market ,main bus station, Sainsburys, WHSmith, Post Office, Aldi, Lidl and Co-op.
A 10 minute walk takes you up into the countryside which offers some amazing walks and footpaths, as well as some of the best views you will ever see. Overlooking the town centre you can see the valley and across to the other side of the valley.
There are plenty of walks locally and can be accessed from the property, such as local reservoirs and the famous wine tasting and vineyard.
The Holme River runs through the town centre and local wildlife can be seen in the river.
Also the Picturedrome where events and concerts are held is a 5 minute walk away.
There are plenty of take-aways, Ice Cream shops, sweet shops, toy shops, clothes shops, health shops, sandwich shops.

Cosy, nestled in the side of the valley, this property is the perfect size and location for a relaxing break away.
Recently renovated and containing your basic amenities needed to have a mini break away.
The house is furnished in a relaxing vibe with Crystals, Salt Lamps and unique ornaments.
There are wall mounted TV's in both bedrooms and the main room. All are smart TV's, meaning you can log into your own Netflix, iPlayer etc accounts. Please note that due to internet issues beyond our control, the TV in the lower bedroom doesn't always connect.
Upon arrival you will receive a welcome pack containing tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits.
Towels and all bedding are provided.
Wi-Fi and a wireless charger are available
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PROPERTY IS NOT SUITABLE FOR DISABLED GUESTS. It is located over 3 floors, one bedroom on the top floor and one bedroom on the bottom floor.
